Within the United States, we represent Finn Church Aid − Finland’s largest international aid organization.
We are committed to ensuring all people − regardless of religion, ethnic background, or political conviction − can exercise their right to quality education, right to livelihoods, and right to peace.
Focus on Education
FCA's 71 years of experience indicate that access to quality education is a prerequisite for enhanced livelihoods that contribute to social cohesion and conflict reduction.
Building on the successes of the Finnish education system, FCA works with all levels of society to strengthen and develop better education systems, provide educational pathways throughout humanitarian emergencies, and link what students are learning in the classroom to future employment.

FCA contributes humanitarian relief after Cyclone Idai
At least 500,000 people have lost their homes and harvests; cholera and other diseases are spreading in the wake of Cyclone Idai's destruction. ACT Alliance is helping to alleviate this by joining forces with local partners to fight diseases and rebuild. FCA has allocated €50,000 from its disaster fund to support ACT Alliance’s efforts. FCA's funds are supporting 5,000 households in affected areas in both Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
